Our board
Hi,
I’m Azwar, the founder and chairperson of FBA. I truly love this organisation and everyone in it. The people at FBA are driven by such great passion, they inspire me every day of my life. I feel lucky that I have the opportunity to be associated with them to implement small but concrete changes in our community.
I wish I could help more people every day of my life, and contribute something, as small as it may be, to make the world a better place, particularly where I live and work.
Aside from my FBA commitments, I am also the Deputy Team Leader/Chief Operations Officer for the Local Governance Innovations for Communities in Aceh (LOGICA2)

My name is Eka Srimulyani,
I am a lecturer at the institute of Islamic Studies in Banda Aceh. I have international research and academic experience, having completed my doctorate and post doctoral research in Australia and Europe.
I have been involved with FBA since 2007. I feel that I can bring to FBA my sensitivity and skills to focus on marginalised groups in our communities, especially women. My academic training and experience allow me to add an element of research to FBA’s work.
I’m particularly proud of FBA’s work for our focus on self-reliance, experience in micro finance and our underlying objectives to empower communities to eradicate poverty.

My name Mohd. Iqbal AR
I have been at FBA for six years, since April 2005. It's difficult for me to speak about my knowledge and skills, but some of friends know me as a person who is able to negotiate and bring a project from small to big. I can also speak a little bit of English.
My involvement with FBA has taught me a lot, especially the sense of belonging and willingness to do something as a group, not just as individuals, and focus on achieving outcomes by going about doing things in our lives in a professional manner.
In my professional life I am a project coordinator working with international partner in Aceh

My name is Taslim Jailani,
I’ve been associated with FBA for more than five years. I bring to FBA my leadership and supervisory skills and I am immensely proud to see FBA constantly grow stronger in our effort to contribute to the growth of Aceh, after our troubled past.
I am also very proud and honoured to be able to share this experience of seeing people build a better life and future for themselves.

Hi,
I’m Mirza Mubaraq,
I’ve been a part of FBA since January 2005. I have experience in logistics, procurement and policy and procedures. I also serve on the FBA Micro Finance Unit Committee.
I’m particularly proud to be part of this organisation, having seen it grow into a strong outfit with high standards, strong leadership and clear goals. I think FBA will go from strength to strength and be part of Aceh’s development for many years to come.
Aside from my commitments with FBA I am a project manager in Banda Aceh.
